ST JAMES MOTHERS’ UNION APRIL TO AUGUST PROGRAMME 2013

 

Apr	Tues 2nd	7.30pm	Corporate Communion followed by coffee.
	Mon 8th	11.00am	Lady Day Service at St Paul’s, Hook followed by lunch.  Ask if you need a lift.  All welcome.
	Mon 15th	10am-midday	Training Day for Branch/Deanery Officers – St James’ Church Hall.
	Wed 17th	2.30pm-4.30pm	Tadworth MU Tea Party. £3 on the door to include lovely tea. Raffle, Bring & Buy, Enterprise Stall.  Speaker Annabel Davidson -“Our Nigerian Links.”  Ask if you need a lift/further details.
	Sat 20th	10am-2pm	Church Fair. Offers of help please (Kitchen and/or donations)
May	Tues 7th	7.30pm	Corporate Communion followed by coffee
	Sun 12th		Bake Sale and Bring and Buy after 9.45am service.
	Tues 21st	8.00pm	Video – MU Literacy and Development Programme. (I will also have books from the MU library for you to see and borrow)
Jun	Tues 4th	7.30pm	Corporate Communion followed by coffee
	Thurs 6th – Sat 8th		Trip to Guildford Cathedral Flower Festival – please see attached.  Please let me know which day/s you can do and I will go for the most popular date.  Please note there is no parking at the cathedral.  We can travel by train and use the courtesy bus to and from the venue.  Tickets are £8 each.  We can make a day of it!
	Wed 12th		General Meeting in Bath – Sold Out!.
			Sri Lanka – a talk on her recent trip by Iris
July	Mon 1st	2-4pm	St Peter’s, Norbiton branch Garden Party
	Tues 2nd	7.30pm	Corporate Communion followed by coffee
	Wed 10th		Southwark AGM at Trinity House – everyone welcome.
	Fri 12th	8.00pm	Summer Supper – Please bring a raffle prize and a bottle!  (Will be round with ‘food list’ nearer the time)
Aug	Wed 14th	11am-12	Wave of Prayer at Heather’s followed by a bring-and-share lunch.
	Mon 19th	2-4pm	Deanery Garden Party.
